PSALM 92: 12 - THE RIGHTEOUS WILL FLOURISH LIKE A PALM TREE, THEY WILL GROW LIKE A CEDAR OF LEBANON, 13 PLANTED IN THE HOUSE OF THE LORD, THEY WILL FLOURISH IN THE COURTS OF OUR GOD 14 THEY WILL STILL BEAR FRUIT IN OLD AGE, THEY WILL STAY FRESH AND GREEN, 15 PROCLAIMING THE LORD IS UPRIGHT; HE IS MY ROCK, AND THERE IS NO WICKEDNESS IN HIM.Late this morning, while I was doing some up-dates on my journals, I received a phone call from my Ate Flor, our eldest sister, ( a widow.. for so many years..), who has been doing MISSIONS/ INTERCESSORY works, in Waipahu, Hawaii... For all of her life, she has served her family and others as well.. She was 73, when she received her " call " from God to go into the Mission Field, leaving her family and her comfort zone in Texas..I praise and thank God for giving me the chance and the privilege of (" making her election sure, - part of my job as Missions Mobilizer." ) It was through the love and generosity of our dear Uncle Daniel " Danie " I. Carbonell, and his pretty wife, Auntie Vickie, my sister and I have had that great chance of going to Hawaii, ( specifically, Lahaina, Maui, where my late Dad grew up, ) to " START - TRACING OUR FAMILY ROOTS, last April of 2009..And when she received her " call" to do the aforementioned callings, last year, 2009 - and she heeded the call to go forth and obey the GREAT COMMSSION MANDATE - as written in MATTHEW 28:18-20- " Then Jesus came to them and said, ' ALL AUTHORITY IN HEAVEN AND ON EARTH HAS BEEN GIVEN TO ME. THEREFORE GO AND MAKE DISCIPLES OF ALL NATIONS, BAPTIZING THEM IN THE NAME OF THE FATHER AND OF THE SON AND OF THE HOLY SPIRIT, AND TEACHING THEM TO OBEY EVERYTHING THAT I HAVE COMMANDED YOU. AND SURELY I WILL BE WITH YOU ALWAYS, TO THE VERY END OF THE AGE, GOD indeed was affirming more and more each passing day, that He is her " JEHOVAH - JIREH " - the GOD who provides for all her needs...HALLELUYAH!
More than a year has passed... There was silence between us... Testing the waters, that is... For it is not that easy to leave the comfort of your home, at such an age...It was an agreement between us... that if she decides to QUIT... we can talk about it... and she can call me up... SHE DID CALL..When I heard her voice, I made " arrow prayers" to God. What now Lord God?? Is this ADVANCE or RETREAT???? PRAISE GOD!!! SHE REPORTED SO MANY " GOOD NEWS!" SHE'S MOVING ON..she said. TO TOUCH MORE LIVES.. as God directs.. guide... and teach her more..AWESOME GOD!
Our dearest Ate Flor, we are DEEPLY GRATEFUL to GOD, that He gave you to us, as our FIRST-BORN.. You are a " great blessing" to God, and to all of us... CARRY ON... Mighty Woman of God! HE WILL BE WITH YOU TILL THE END OF THE AGE...WE LOVE YOU DEARLY... Extend our love, regards and infinite thanks to our beloved Uncle Danie and family, for loving and taking good care of you as you do your mission for God's Glory! IN CHRIST JESUS NAME, our MESSIAH YESHUA, AMEN and AMEN!!! SHALOM!*< lua... ( loveualways.)
