That arriving at our home this am, I saw the " COLORFUL WELCOME BANNERS " atop the evergreen shrubs on our home...The DAILY VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL of our church at GREAT COMMISSION FIL-AM CHURCH was being held in our home, from Monday till Friday, this week! Graduation will be on Sunday Service at Hickey Blvd, Daly City. Parents brought their kids, multi-nationalities, a French grandmother, 70 years old, married to a Portuguese was again actively involved, here at the DVBS! For the whole week, cold or warm weather, Mary brought her daughters and grandchildren, to the sports fest. And they were Catholics! They participated actively during the last SPORTS CAMP, held just a week ago..THIRTEEN YOUTH MISSIONARIES, from North Carolina, with two volunteer parents, a Mom and a Dad, shared their skills in basketball, soccer, and football. But the best thing that they shared was the Good News of God's Love.. to the kids and participants. Bless this Mission Team mightily Father God! ..
Memories came flooding my mind as I was watching all the kids in their zest and enthusiasm for every activity that they were doing... My children were DVBS'ers in their young life, availed of every Summer Camps, when they were in their teen-years, actively involving themselves, in God's works, then, till now..From the countless DVBS held in our church, and in other churches we had them held, in our Beloved country, the Philippines, God raised up pastors, missionaries and leaders.. AWESOME GOD!
